Information we collect

We may collect contact, registration, attendee and purchase information, including names, preferred names, email addresses, mobile numbers, mailing or billing address, years married, selected weekend date and marriage-season track, ticket tier, purchase amount, payment status and transaction records. The purchaser may provide spouse or partner details needed to coordinate the shared reservation.

After purchase, the Couple Profile may collect both spouses’ names, preferred names, email addresses and mobile numbers; dietary restrictions and food allergies for each spouse; accessibility or mobility requests; emergency contact name, relationship and phone; rooming notes; special occasion; an optional response about what would make the weekend meaningful; and photography or video preferences. Please do not submit medical diagnoses. Requests are not guaranteed.

Payment information

Wix and the payment providers shown at checkout process payment information. If a customer chooses a financing option, the selected provider handles its application and financing account under its own terms. After the I Do may retain transaction details such as amount, date, payment status, provider and receipt for reservation, accounting and customer-service purposes. After the I Do does not store full payment-card numbers.

Website and device information

Wix and enabled analytics or advertising tools may collect technical information such as IP address, device and browser type, approximate location, pages viewed, referral source, interactions, form activity, cookies, pixels and similar identifiers. These tools may include Wix analytics, Google Analytics, Meta Pixel or other tags if enabled. Cookie and privacy controls may be available on the site or in your browser.

How we use information

We use information to operate the website and forms; respond to inquiries; manage reservations and inventory; process payments and refunds; confirm attendee and rooming details; coordinate requested dietary, allergy, accessibility or mobility accommodations with the resort; provide retreat communications; send service and arrival information; administer feedback; protect the site and prevent fraud; maintain transaction records; and comply with applicable obligations. We may use aggregated information for planning and performance measurement.

Email and SMS communications

We send transactional messages about an inquiry, registration, payment, Couple Profile, schedule or arrival as needed to provide the service. We send marketing email or SMS only where the required consent has been provided. You can opt out of marketing using the unsubscribe instructions in the message or by contacting info@aftertheidoexperiences.com. Opting out of marketing does not stop essential transaction or service messages.

How information is shared

Information may be shared with Wix and its hosting, forms, CRM, email, analytics and security services; payment processors; a financing provider selected by a customer; and contractors who need it to perform assigned work. For a retreat reservation, relevant attendee, rooming-list, dietary, allergy or accessibility information may be shared with voco Sandpiper All-Inclusive Resort and other necessary venue or event providers to coordinate the contracted stay. We limit sharing to what is reasonably needed for those purposes. Information may also be disclosed when required by law or to protect safety, rights and security.

Retention and privacy requests

We retain information as reasonably needed to provide services, manage reservations, maintain transaction and business records, resolve disputes, honor communication preferences and meet applicable obligations. Retention periods depend on the information and its purpose. Depending on applicable law, you may request access to, correction or deletion of certain information, or withdraw consent where available. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect information. No electronic system can be guaranteed completely secure.

Adults and couple privacy

The website and retreats are intended for adults. We do not use ordinary forms to collect detailed private marital disclosures. The couple owns the conversation.
