WHO IT’S FOR

Good marriages deserve attention, too.

A marriage may not need counseling or repair to benefit from intentional time together. After the I Do is for couples who still choose each other and want to keep making room for connection, laughter, intimacy, curiosity, and what comes next.

What you already have is worth making time for.

This retreat may be for you if…

You don’t need a marriage problem to make meaningful space for each other.

01
Your marriage is good, and you believe it deserves intentional attention.

02
Daily life has become louder than the two of you.

03
You want meaningful conversation without counseling, public disclosure, or forced vulnerability.

04
You miss laughing, flirting, dreaming, or simply slowing down together.

05
You want to keep choosing each other with intention, through every season of marriage.

This retreat isn’t for you if…

01 — Couples seeking counseling or therapy
After the I Do is a marriage-enrichment experience, not clinical treatment, counseling, or crisis intervention.

02 — Anyone coming to “fix” their spouse
The focus is not on identifying what is wrong with the other person. It is about turning toward each other and investing in the relationship you share.

03 — Couples expecting a lecture-heavy marriage conference
You will not spend the retreat sitting through hours of presentations. The experience is interactive, host-led, and designed around the two of you actually spending time together.

04 — Couples expecting to process their private marriage in front of strangers
There is no forced sharing, public disclosure, or pressure to tell the room your personal business. Private conversations remain between you and your spouse.

05 — Anyone expecting the retreat to do the work for them
After the I Do creates the setting, experiences, and opportunities for connection. What happens between the two of you remains yours.

After the I Do isn’t about repairing a marriage in public.

It is about making intentional space for the marriage you already share.

If a relationship is in acute crisis, or there are concerns involving safety, abuse, or serious mental-health needs, working with an appropriately qualified professional may be a more suitable first step.
